M- Learning Accreditation for D4LC through the School of Education

It is expected that D4LC Phase 2 teachers will have the option of gaining M-Learning credits for their action research into drama for learning and creativity.  The fee for up to 10 Norfolk teachers will be paid for by Norfolk. Full details will be downloadable here soon.

   

General Teaching Council /TLA / D4LC

D4LC teachers in Phase 2 will have the optional opportunity to have their action research verfied through the TLA at one of 4 levels. Levels 3 and 4 may be converted in due course to M Learning credits. The TLA representative spoke at the Birmingham Conference on 19/06/07.  The powerpoint will soon be downloadable here.

Talk2Learn Forum

D4LC was the focus of Talk2Learn on the National College for School Leadership website in February 2007. The forum was hosted by Patrice Baldwin, D4LC National Director


February 6th 2007 - QCA curriculum co-development network

Robin Widdowson, QCA curriculum division met with 25 Norfolk D4LC teachers on February 6th 2007 in Norwich to support them to form D4LC/QCA co-development networks.  Since then they have met again to set up a funded D4LC Primary Learning Network that will also be a QCA curriculum co-development network. 

In Birmingham teacher and headteacher representatives of the D4LC/QCA Primary Learning Network presented D4LC alongside Robin to 100 delegates from local authorities on 19/06/07.

30th October 2006 - Dissemination to key agencies

Mick Waters,  Director of Curriculum at QCA opened the D4LC meeting for key agencies at QCA on October 30th 2007.   He appealed to those present to help D4LC roll out nationally.
